Township Office Closed for Victoria Day

The Township Office, Libraries and Waste Sites will remain closed on Monday, May 20, 2024, in observance of Victoria Day.
As a result, curbside waste pickup in the Village of Lansdowne will be affected by the holiday and will take place on Tuesday, May 21 instead of the regular schedule.

The waste sites will be open on Saturday, May 18 and closed Monday, May 20 for Victoria day, with regular hours resuming on Tuesday, May 21.

Rideau Canal - Notice of Mooring Restrictions, May 8, 2024

SMITHS FALLS, ONTARIO – May 8, 2024 – Parks Canada is advising the public that a Notice of Mooring Restrictions came into effect on May 1, 2024, related to the mooring of floating accommodations on the Rideau Canal National Historic Site.
